31 Don’t worry and say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’

32 The people who don’t know God keep trying to get these things, and your Father in heaven knows you need them.

33 Seek first God’s kingdom and what God wants. Then all your other needs will be met as well.

The best experiences of God’s provision can’t be confined to a question, but from your stories. Please share here.

24“No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

If u devote yourself to something u will learn that u can’t plz everyone. Saying no helps us 2 stay focused and sane.

14 For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Can you say you have forgiven a person if you always remind them of the wrong? Do grudges have any benefits?

5“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.

6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Prayer shouldn’t be limited to closets. In fact, we should pray in groups. What is the lesson of these verses?

43“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[a] and hate your enemy.’

44 But I tell you: Love your enemies[b] and pray for those who persecute you,

45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Loving the unlovable may be the hardest thing b/c real love makes sacrifices, and we have received the greatest one.

27“You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery.’[a]

28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

This verse was from the old law. Jesus was sent to make a new way to God. How does this verse show this?

14“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.

15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

This light shines through everyday tasks. God makes everything glorious, nothing is insignificant.

8 “Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me.
“But you ask, ‘How do we rob you?’
“In tithes and offerings. 9 You are under a curse—the whole nation of you—because you are robbing me. 10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.

It is often heard that we are not to test God. Why is this different? Will you test God in this?

15 Has not the LORD made them one? In flesh and spirit they are his. And why one? Because he was seeking godly offspring. [a] So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith with the wife of your youth.

God was Israel’s wife. Israel broke their commitment with idol worship. What does commitment bring to our lives?

5 Now this is what the LORD Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways.

6 You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.”

Have you ever felt unsatisfied and spent? What does satisfaction in God look like? Does it usually follow our ideas?
